Although Titanfall isnt due to hit the Xbox One until March 11th, thanks to the early release of an enticing new accessory, the wait is slightly more bearable.
Introducing the Titanfall Limited Edition Wireless Controller for Xbox One. Born of a creative partnership between Microsoft and Respawn Entertainment, this slick pad sports a paint scheme inspired by one of the game’s mech–piloting factions.
Having put the Titanfall controller through its paces over the course of the games recent beta test, wed love to report that the colorful, limited edition skin enables a vast improvement in performance over the standard Xbox One controller. The slightly smoother contours of the new game pad felt especially comfortable in our clutches, however the only other perceptible differences seemed to be largely aesthetic.
Despite its hefty price tag (nearly $70 USD), the Titanfall Limited Edition controller will likely be too delectable to pass up for hardcore fans that choose to experience the game on Xbox One. Its the perfect accompaniment for the mammoth (and equally pricey) Titanfall Collectors Edition that’s set to launch alongside the standard version next month. The controller is available now at retail, but we’ve provided prospective buyers a closer look at it below.
