The pair of 7″ tall (1/10th scale) Imperial Squad Leaders are superbly painted and come with a host of familiar accessories including removable orange shoulder pauldrons and unwieldy multi-component backpacks. Additionally, the troopers’ white armor features realistic weathering and discoloration that convincingly recreates the look of extended exposure to Tatooines unrelenting desert environment as in Star Wars Episode IV.
Beyond the swiveling heads, Kotobukiyas Star Wars Sandtrooper ARTFX+ Statues dont offer any additional points of articulation. A clear advantage of the segmented design however, is that they can be reconfigured with little effort into an assortment of recognizable stances. Magnets built into the feet of the figures allow collectors to firmly secure them to the matte black display bases that they ship with as well.
