The rich high-tech saga, filled with immense battling robots and swirling futuristic drama has left an indelible mark on Japanese popular culture and science fiction while amassing an eager following worldwide.
Taking full advantage of the 2014 International Tokyo Toy Show earlier this summer (June 12th – 15th), distinguished Japan-based toy manufacturer, Bandai, gave attendees a look at an expansive showcase of Gundam figures and model kits. The varied assortment of automata and humanoid Mobile Suits on display provided viewers a fascinating look at the history and evolution of the Gundam franchise over the last thirty-five years.
