Dual Collector’s Editions Announced for Batman: Arkham Knight

Batman: Arkham Knight Limited and Batmobile EditionUPDATE: As reported by Kotaku, the Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition has been canceled by Warner Brothers Interactive.

Following the release of lavish high-end editions of both and , Warner Brothers Games has recently confirmed that when Batman: Arkham Knight ships for PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 23 June 2015, it will arrive with a bounty of superfluous collectible content in tow. In fact, there are so many extras that two Arkham Knight collector’s edition sets are planned; the Limited and Batmobile editions.


The Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition will come with an assortement of premium trimmings including:

– An exclusive, limited edition SteelBook case and game disc

– An 80-page, color art book

– A limited edition DC comic book, “Batman: Arkham Knight #0”

– In-game character skins inspired by the DC Comics New 52 comics

– A limited edition, 12″ collectible Batman statue

Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition

 


The Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition will feature all of the physical and digital content of the Limited Edition variant with the exception of the collectible statue that’s packed within. Rather than the sculpture of Batman, buyers will receive a detailed transforming statue of the Batmobile as it appears in-game crafted by Project Triforce.

Retail prices for the distinctly craveable Limited, and Batmobile editions of Batman: Arkham Knight have been set at $99.99 and $199.99 USD, respectively.
