Commando is Back with the Hot Toys John Matrix Sixth Scale FigureDecember 4, 2014
Sure to be a welcome sight for fans of 1985’s perennial action movie favorite, Commando, is the all-new Hot Toys John Matrix Sixth Scale Figure. Deploying with the company’s characteristically stunning level of detail, the film’s headlining, green beret-eating warrior has been masterfully recreated with over 26 points of articulation. The resulting presentation is made more remarkable with the use of mostly seamless joints in the brawny arms for a more natural and realistic appearance. In addition to the figures nearly 13-inch tall authentically gigantic build the detailed head sculpt highlights a particularly uncanny and lifelike portrait of actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Hot Toys’ John Matrix Sixth Scale Figure features an intricately crafted five-part getup complete with a miniature tactical vest, trousers, belt, holsters, and combat boots. Additional accessories include seven interchangeable hands, a pair of shoulder pouches, binoculars, a watch, and a figure stand with a character nameplate.
Of course, no depiction of Commando’s one-man demolitions force would be complete without a bristling complement of weapons in tow. Hot Toys Matrix figure aptly abides with a sixth scale arsenal that includes a shotgun, pistol, rocket launcher, multiple machine guns, knives, grenades, claymore mines, and additional rounds of ammunition.
Collectors will have to wait until August 2015 to get their hands on the Hot Toys John Matrix Sixth Scale Figure. The movie-accurate piece is expected to be available at the list price of $249.99 USD.
