The ranks of the ever-expanding line of have gained both an avian defender and a mischievous demi-god with the recent release of the long-awaited Falcon and Loki figures.
Like earlier entries in Disney’s popular line of interactive video game statuettes, Falcon and Loki bear the stout, stylized aesthetic thats characteristic of the INFINITY collection. While Lokis appearance is loosely reminiscent of his recent movie depiction, its clear that Falcons look draws inspiration from the comic book pages rather than the big screen. Each of the dynamically posed figures stand roughly 4 inches tall and like other Disney INFINITY figures, are more statues than action figures since there are no movable parts. Falcon and Loki are rooted to circular pedestals that enable their digital likenesses to be imported and playable in-game via an INFINITY 2.0 base (sold separately for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo WiiU). Despite the dearth of articulation and a few minor paint imperfections, the Falcon and Loki figures stand as must-haves for fans of the craveable series of collectible figures.
Falcon and Loki joined the Disney INFINITY 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes line-up in March 2015. Theyre currently sold separately and carry a manufacturers suggested retail price of $13.99 USD each (though they’re often available for less). Like other pieces in the INFINITY 2.0 line, they can be enjoyed as stand-alone collectibles or used with compatible starter packs and play sets for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo WiiU.
