With the approaching shift of seasons, were returning the spotlight to the exciting variety of Hot Toys Marvel figures put on view earlier in the summer. As in , the companys booth at the 2015 International Tokyo Toy Show (18-21 June) was brimming with an utterly jaw-dropping spread of action figures based on the superheroic luminaries of the Marvel universe.
Drawing inspiration from their cinematic appearances, the range of collectibles on display in Japan included sixth scale figures based on the trio of Iron Man films, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men: Days of Future Past, as well as the original Avengers film and its blockbuster follow-up, Avengers: Age of Ultron. The latter was particularly well represented with sixth scale versions of the Iron Man Mark XLIII armor, Captain America, and War Machine Mark II, as well as stylized Artist Mix depictions of key Avengers 2 characters including Hulkbuster, Iron Legion, Ultron Sentry and Ultron Prime.
Alongside an equally impressive showing of , the sprawling showcase of Hot Toys Marvel figures was yet another one of the many memorable highlights of this summer’s International Tokyo Toy Show.
