With the end of the year fast approaching, were returning the spotlight to Hot Toys and their electrifying selection of Batman figures on display during the summer. In particular, the companys booth at the International Tokyo Toy Show 2015 (18-21 June) was packed with an assortment of collectibles capable of leaving any fan of the DC Universe giddy with delight.
Known for their wildly accurate line of poseable sixth scale figures, Hot Toys had plenty of collectibles on display inspired by the iconic heroes and villains of Gotham City. Craveable versions of Batman and Robin from the classic 1960s TV show were joined by the 12-inch tall recreation of the cowled-hero from the Batman: Arkham City video game. The Dark Knight movie trilogy was well represented with stunning sixth scale portrayals of the Joker, Commissioner Gordon, John Blake, Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne and (of course) his titular alter ego.
The Hot Toys booth at Tokyo Toy Show 2015 was stuffed with Batman-inspired wares from other manufacturers as well. Comic book faithful depictions of Gotham Citys principals by Sideshow Collectibles, , and others added depth and breadth to an already captivating line-up of masterfully authentic superhero pieces.
