Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds Launches with a Range of New HeroesMarch 20, 2016
For superhero fans counting down to the May 5th big-screen release of Captain America: Civil War, the all-new Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds play set should help make the wait a bit more bearable. A fitting prelude to the impending superhero match-ups that moviegoers will see on-screen, the Marvel Battlegrounds package includes an updated, unmasked version of Captain America (brooding and steely-eyed) along with a play set piece that enables the entire 28-character line-up of Infinity 2.0 and 3.0 Marvel heroes and villains to battle it out in raucous 4-player brawls. New locales and arenas span the Marvel Universe from the summit of Mount Asgard to the Mines of Wakanda. A (game disc and figure base) is required to play, as is an Internet connection for a necessary downloadable content update.
Releasing alongside Marvel Battlegrounds and its new Cap figure is a trio of new superheroes for players to contend with. New characters entering the fray are Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Visionall of whom are set to thoroughly throw down on the big screen in Civil War.
The Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds play set released in mid-March (for use with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo WiiU, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 video game consoles) at the manufacturers suggested retail price of $29.99 USD. The Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Vision figures hit store shelves the same day at the list price of $13.99 USD each. As with other figures in the ever-expanding lineup they can be enjoyed as stand-alone collectibles; within the Disney Infinity 3.0 player-created Toy Box; or with the Marvel Battlegrounds play set.
