Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition: High-Level LootApril 7, 2019
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition is the top-tier version of Ubisoft’s lauded looter-shooter and a perfect way for fans to celebrate the second game in the franchise. This tremendous premium set is chock full of enough digital and physical add-ons and collectibles to keep collector’s engaged long after release.
On the heels of high-profile “AAA” video games that released from last fall through earlier this year, like the remade Resident Evil 2, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition doesn’t skimp on the downloadable bonuses. In addition to 3-day early access to The Division 2 (beginning on March 12, 2019), the set comes with a card containing a printed code that unlocks the “Extra DLC Pack”, which includes the Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition content as well as the pre-order Capitol Defender Pack. Buys are rewarded with Battleworn Secret Service Pack, First Responder Pack, and Elite Agent Pack to deck out their characters. In addition, the Division 2 Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition also comes with the Year 1 Pass, which unlocks 7-day early access to all Year 1 episodes, instant access to all Year 1 specializations as they release, as well as exclusive character adornments and in-game events.
The Division 2 Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition comes with a plethora of tangible loot. Craveable items include a specially designed metallic disc case, map of Washington D.C., audio disc dubbed, “The Sounds of Washington D.C.” with a selection of 21 songs from the game’s soundtrack, and a book with 20 removable lithographs with art from the game. However, the highlight of this distinctive bundle is the fully articulated action figure based on one of the game’s highly trained Division agents. The fully articulated sixth scale collectible stands 11.5 inches tall and comes with 7 swappable hands cast in a variety of positions. Perhaps, the most impressive aspect of the figure is the sheer quantity of painstaking crafted accouterments. In addition to a fitted fabric shirt and trousers, the miniature agent comes with an assortment of items including a backpack, ball cap, radio, pouches, straps, holsters, gas mask and more. Weapons include a knife (and sheath) 9.5-inch sniper rifle, 5.5-inch crossbow, and a 5.5-inch submachine gun. A figure stand with a metallic nameplate is also included.
The Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Phoenix Shield Collector’s Edition released for PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC as an Ubisoft Store exclusive on March 12, 2019 at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $249.99 USD.
